  • Harrison Township Montgomery County, Ohio Invitation to Bid Shiloh Plat Improvements Project Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Trustees of Harrison Township, Harrison Township Government Center, 5945 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, Ohio 45414, until 10:00 A.M. E.D.S.T. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 and at that time and place publicly opened and read. The work for which these bids are invited consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the Shiloh Plat Improvements Project. Materials and workmanship shall conform to the State of Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Construction and Materials Specifications, January 1, 2016 Edition, unless otherwise noted. Proposals must include all items. Bid documents including bid proposal forms may be obtained at the Harrison Township Services Department, 2409 Rector Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45414 with a non-refundable payment of $65.00 per set. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Bond or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety including the subcontractors that will be doing work under this contract. Each Proposal must contain the full name, address and phone number of the party or parties submitting the proposal. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than November 2, 2018. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Greene County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Worker Safety – Wage and Hour. The Engineer’s estimate is $577,899. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder who, in the Township's opinion, offered the lowest and best responsive bid submitted by a responsible bidder.
