The Five Rivers MetroParks (FRMP, Owner) will receive sealed bid proposals for the COX ARBORETUM METROPARK - BARBARA COX CENTER FOR SUSTAINABLE HORTICULTURE- REBID, Bid No. 15-008 until JULY 27, 2015 at 2:30 p.m., local time, at Five Rivers MetroParks Main Office, 409 E. Monument Avenue, Third Floor, Dayton, Ohio, 45402-1374. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on JULY 27, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. local time, at Five Rivers MetroParks Main Office, 409 E. Monument Avenue, Third Floor, Dayton, Ohio, 45402-1374.
The construction cost estimate is $422,560.00.
Copies of the Contract Documents, as prepared, the proposal, and contract forms, are on file with BlueServ Reprographics, 3313 Seajay Drive, Beavercreek OH 45430 at (937) 426-6410 or blueservrepro.com, where they may be viewed online and obtained upon payment of $35.00, plus shipping, payable to BlueServ Reprographics, non-refundable.
A pre-bid meeting will be held JULY 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. local time at the Cox Arboretum MetroPark Visitor Center, 6733 Springboro Pk., Dayton OH 45449. The purpose is for the Owner’s Representative to review the Contract Documents and answer any questions.
Provide bid proposals in a sealed envelope labeled COX ARBORETUM METROPARK - BARBARA COX CENTER FOR SUSTAINABLE HORTICULTURE-REBID, Bid No. 15-008. Each proposal shall be signed by the full name and business address of each person or company interested in the same; shall be accompanied by a 100% Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond, or by a certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Five Rivers MetroParks as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured by a satisfactory bond in amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
The proposals must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents, or a copy thereof.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to Five Rivers MetroParks, an equal opportunity employer.
