REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES

Five Rivers MetroParks (FRMP) is requesting sealed and marked Letters of Interest (LOI) from qualified firms to provide Construction Engineering Services, including Construction Contract Administration and Construction Inspection and Testing Services, for the MOT Mad River Bikeway PID 77848, in Montgomery and Greene Counties, Ohio.
The project consists of the construction of a 3.6 mile section of paved recreation trail beginning at the existing Mad River Recreation Trail at Eastwood MetroPark in Montgomery County, and extending approximately 3.6 miles to the Huffman Prairie Bikeway at Huffman MetroPark in Greene County.

In addition, this improvement is being constructed as an LPA Federal Local Let Project by Five Rivers MetroParks . The construction engineering and inspection services should be performed in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations with oversight by Five Rivers MetroParks, and the State and Federal Governments.
Estimated Construction Cost: $2,000,000.00.
Required Prequalification: None
Experience in Construction Administration, Inspection, and ODOT's LPA procedures; experience with the construction of Recreation Trails. The firm must have an Ohio Professional Engineer assigned to the project.
The project will be constructed over an estimated one year period during the 2012 and 2013 calendar years. It is anticipated that the selected Consultant will be authorized to proceed by July 1, 2012. Please be advised that these dates are subject to change.
