BID NO. 324
The Five Rivers MetroParks (FRMP) will receive sealed bid proposals for the Emerald Ash Tree Removal Project until January 10, 2012 at 2:00 P.M., local time at 1375 East Siebenthaler Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45414. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:15 P.M. local time, at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark, 1301 E Siebenthaler Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
Copies of the Contract Documents, as prepared, the proposal and contract forms are available thru the MetroParks bid website http://bids.metroparks.org and can be downloaded for no charge.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Taylorsville MetroPark operations building located at 8300 Brown School Road, Vandalia, OH 45377, on January 3, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. local time. The purpose of this meeting is for the Owner's Representative and FRMP to review the Contract Documents and answer any questions.
The project estimate is $84,000.00
Provide bid proposals in a sealed envelope labeled Emerald Ash Borer Tree Removal Project, Bid No. 324. Each proposal shall be signed by the full name and business address of each person of company interested in the same; shall be accompanied by a 100% Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond, or by a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Five Rivers MetroParks as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured by a satisfactory bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
The proposals must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents, or a copy thereof.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to Five Rivers MetroParks, an equal opportunity employer.
