  • LEGAL NOTICE Now comes Mathias H. Heck, Jr., Prosecuting Attorney of Montgomery County, Ohio, to duly serve public notice of a forfeiture proceeding. Said forfeiture proceeding involves certain miscellaneous recovered or abandoned property, including currency. The property has been unclaimed for a period of sixty (60) days and all efforts to reach the last known owner or owners have proven unsuccessful. Should you own any property in the custody of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, or know the name of any person owning said property, or wish to make a claim for any said property, you should contact Marc Dezarn at (937) 225-5799. Upon a showing of or claim of ownership to any property, a hearing will be conducted in order to determine if the property may be returned. Failure to make a claim for the stated property within thirty (30) days of publication will result in the property being forfeited to Montgomery County, Ohio and disposed of by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office pursuant to Section 2933.41 et seq.
