  • PUBLIC NOTICE The Montgomery County Engineer’s Office is pleased to present its Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Public Road Right of Way Transition Plan for public comment and review. A final public information meeting on the proposed ADA Transition Plan will be conducted on January 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., in the 9th Floor Conference Room of the Montgomery County Administrative Building, located at 451 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45422-1260. Although this will be an in-person meeting, given the ongoing pandemic and possibility of inclement weather, you can attend remotely, via Zoom.us. Please contact Tracy Howell at the Montgomery County Engineer’s Office at howellt@mcohio.org or at (937) 496-3279, and you will be provided a link to attend the meeting. The proposed (ADA) Public Road Right of Way Transition Plan is available for review at the Montgomery County Engineer’s Office, Eighth Floor, of the Montgomery County Administrative Building. The Proposed standards can also be found on the Engineer’s website at https://engineer.mcohio.org/resources/ada-compliance/. Please note that this plan applies to roads under the care and control of the Board of County Commissioners and the Montgomery County Engineer. It does not apply to streets within cities or most roads within townships.
