RiverScape Pavilion Sound Quality Improvement Study

Five Rivers MetroParks is requesting acoustical engineering consultant qualifications with supporting documents for a study to identify sound quality improvements for the RiverScape Pavilion.
The RiverScape Pavilion opened in June 2010 to enthusiastic public support and is experiencing a successful first year as one of downtown Dayton's premier outdoor destinations for both summer and winter activities.
The anticipated scope of work consists of two phases:
. Phase 1 to include an acoustical assessment of the space and existing house sound system with preliminary design and cost estimation for phased improvements to realize improved sound quality within the Pavilion.
. Phase 2 to include detailed design and specifications for a first phase improvement to a level necessary for obtaining competitive price proposals.
Five Rivers MetroParks will select a Consultant Firm based upon the submitted information in accordance with FRMP's Consultant Selection Process. Five Rivers MetroParks intends to authorize these services through a notice to proceed in May, 2011.
Five Rivers MetroParks will select a Consultant Firm based on the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). The requirements for the RFQ and information on the Consultant Selection Process that will be used to select the Consultant Firm are available upon request at the address below or online at http://bids.metroparks.org. Firms interested in being considered for selection should respond by submitting three copies of the Request for Qualifications to the following address by 3:00 P.M. on March 31, 2011 listed below. Responses received after 3:00 P.M. will not be considered.
