  • ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BID NO. 271 The Five Rivers MetroParks (FRMP) will receive sealed bid proposals for National City 2nd Street Market Electrical & HVAC Upgrade Project until May 15, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. local time, at 1375 East Siebenthaler Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45414. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:30 p.m., local time, at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark, 1301 E. Siebenthaler Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, 45414. Copies of the Contract Documents, as prepared, the proposal and contract forms are on file at Five Rivers MetroParks, Dayton, Ohio 45414, 1-937-275-7275, where they may be obtained upon payment of $20.00, non-refundable. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 600 E. 2nd Street, Dayton, Ohio, on May 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The purpose of this meeting is for the Owner's Representative and FRMP to review the Contract Documents and answer any questions. Provide bid proposals in a sealed envelope labeled National City 2nd Street Market Electrical & HVAC Upgrade Project, Bid No. 271. Each proposal shall be signed by the full name and business address of each person of company interested in the same; shall be accompanied by a 100% Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond, or by a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Five Rivers MetroParks as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured by a satisfactory bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The proposals must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents, or a copy thereof. Questions concerning the Contract Documents should be directed to Mark Davis, Superintendent of Parks at 937-313-8744.
