Panel upholds conviction of woman who filed complaint using police badge number

A 10th District Court of Appeals panel recently held that there was sufficient evidence for the conviction of a woman who led a deputy court clerk to believe she was a law enforcement officer. The woman, Dawn Norwood, filed a complaint listing a badge number, as though she were a police officer, which led to the arrest of her ex-husband.
