New Tutor Ratings Help Parents Make Informed Choices for Their Children
Columbus, Ohio – Parents can now go online to study the performance of organizations providing tutoring services in a federally funded program for students in low-performing schools. The Ohio Department of Education is publishing effectiveness reports for more than 200 providers as part of a comprehensive plan to improve the performance of the Supplemental Educational Services (SES) program. A recent internal audit found identified areas in which both ODE and local school districts can improve their management of SES.
