Lawmaker pitches 2 bills included in Future of Ohio reform package

Nan Baker has introduced two pieces of legislation into the Ohio General
Assembly that center around boosting the state's business climate.
Bill 17 would authorize a $2,400 income tax withholding credit for an employer
that hires and employs a previously unemployed individual. House Bill 18 seeks
to authorize a nonrefundable tax credit for a business that increases payroll
and expands into a vacant facility.
