Bill would 'fix' budget, unbundle Medicaid payments

Legislation introduced last week in the Ohio General Assembly seeks to address a change that bundled state nursing facilities' services in House Bill 1, which passed in July 2009. The budget change altered the reimbursement of Medicaid patient services, including oxygen, over-the-counter drugs, physical therapy, occupational therapy, patient equipment and transportation.
