USDA 2009 harvest numbers surpass original predictions
(Delaware) The latest USDA figures about the 2009 corn crop show the harvest was more bountiful than originally predicted in the Buckeye State. Even through wet, soggy conditions and a delayed harvest, Ohio's farmers broke records for the amount of corn produced.
