Tax amnesty program already surpassing goals

Since the start of the 2006 Ohio Tax Amnesty Program at the first of the year, the Ohio Department of Taxation has collected approximately $13.5 million in taxes previously owed to the state. The total already has passed the $10 million goal the department set for the program which ends Feb. 15.
