Most people suffering from FASD go undiagnosed

One of the least diagnosed mental and developmental disability occurring in children today is also one of the most debilitating. Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), an umbrella term that encompasses conditions such as Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Alcohol Related Neurodevelopmental Disorder among others, is estimated by the Ohio Department of Health to be found in 144,000 Ohioans although only 300 have been diagnosed.
