H. THOMAS WELLS ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION
WASHINGTON, D.C. --Aug. 23, 2007 - At the American Bar Association's Annual Meeting in San Francisco, Birmingham litigation lawyer H. Thomas Wells Jr. was formally elected to serve as president of the American Bar Association for a one-year term beginning in August 2008, through the close of the ABA Annual Meeting in August 2009.
