American Bar adopts policies addressing numerous legal issues

At its annual meeting in San Francisco last week, the American Bar Association House of Delegates adopted a number of policies for the organization, including policies on torture and detainees, how courts handle assertions of the state secrets doctrine and a recent Supreme Court ruling involving pay discrimination.
