Attorney rules for delivering funds to clients clarified in recommendations

In the second of two nonbinding advisory opinions released by the Ohio Board of Professional Conduct recently, the board examined a lawyer's duty to promptly deliver funds to a client or third party and concluded that seven to 10 days is a reasonable amount of time to wait for those funds.
