The United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals recently ruled that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio properly denied a defendantâ€™s petition for a writ of habeas corpus after he failed to prove that his attorneyâ€™s choice to exclude evidence of mistaken identity at trial caused enough prejudice to warrant a retrial.
