  • PUBLIC NOTICE The United States of America filed a criminal Indictment against Gregory Speakman, in U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, on January 10, 2006. (3:06CR004). The Indictment alleges that Gregory Speakman violated United States Code Title 18, Sections 2252(a)(1), which involves the transportation of child pornography and (a)(4)(B) and (b)(2), which involves knowingly possessing child pornography. The Indictment seeks forfeiture pursuant to 18 U.S.C. §2253 of A. Black Keyboard S/N 0410007378 B. Black CPU with clear side, no visible serial number C. Computer microphone D. Seagate Medalist 3221 Hard Drive S/N VTE83164 E. Burgundy Duffle bag; 44 CD-ROM in a "conductor series" container; 65 loose CD-ROM On May 11, 2006 a Preliminary Order of Forfeiture was entered. That Order provides for the forfeiture of the above mentioned property. The Preliminary Order of Forfeiture will become final unless any person claiming a legal interest in the properties files a Petition with the Court. If you claim any interest in the properties which the Court has ordered forfeited, you must comply with 21 U.S.C.§853(n), and assert your interest within 30 days of the final publication of notice, or 30 days of receiving notice of the entry of an order of forfeiture against the properties, whichever is earlier. Such Petition must be filed with the Office of the Clerk, United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio, Western Division, at 712 Federal Building, 200 West Second Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402 with a copy thereof sent to Gregory G. Lockhart, at 602 Federal Building, 200 West Second Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402.
